Water Hunt.....

When i got up this morning, assuming it to be early morning but it turned to be afternoon, i saw my blockmates toiling around from one block to another in search of water. The famous saying "water water everywhere not a drop to drink" became so true, infact i can feel the sea sitting in my room. Finally i found a block, which turned out to be the 1st yr students block(from where we r actually banned) wherin the water hasn't dried since the college started. Those lucky little bastards!!!! Today i was made to think where does all the rain water go, the monsoon r not gone yet and already we are facing water shortages already. I feel the doomsday with no water no electricity is not far away.

All begins here...

As there is saying "small things can make lot of changes". Here is that small step to a bigger revolution. This is my first post to my blog. I'm Rickesh,19, an engineering student at NITK surathkal. Today was my second day of my third year of college,it was usual day. Just had 2 hours of classes as our dept is hunting for the professors for the other two subjects .It played cricket after a long gap of 4 months. As usual we lost the match though the target was 12runs. It sounds pathetic, but we are a miniature Indian cricket team of the past.

My interst of blogging myself arised not because of getting noticed or recieveing publicity. If those were to happen nothing is going to harm me anyway. I want the world to know how this small lad has potential to face the real world n bring laurels to this beautiful nation. If i were to sit and waste time I might not achieve anything. So here is my 1st step for communicating with the world.
